# Best Pudding Keycaps (2026) Source: https://mechkeeblab.com/best/pudding-keycaps Updated: 2026-09-15 Publisher: MechKeeb Lab. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://mechkeeblab.com/how-we-research#our-score Pudding keycaps pair an opaque top with translucent sides, so your board's RGB glows around every key instead of only through the legend. If lighting is the whole point of your build, these are built for it. Check whether the legends are shine-through, since that determines how brightly the characters light up in the dark. Material matters as well: PBT puddings resist shine and feel drier, while ABS versions tend to be glossier and let a bit more light escape. Confirm the profile matches your board so the caps sit at a height you already like. Puddings suit gamers and anyone who runs their lighting bright and colorful, especially in a dim room where the glow really carries. They are also an easy, affordable way to transform the look of a stock board without changing switches or layout. If you keep your lighting off or prefer a muted desk, the translucent sides lose their purpose, so match this pick to a setup where the RGB actually earns its keep. ## Picks ### 1.
