Ussixchare 128 Keys PBT XDA Profile Minimalist White Mac Style Keycaps Review (2026)

Who this keycap set suits

This set is aimed at Mac users assembling or upgrading a custom mechanical keyboard who want legends that match Apple's command and option key conventions rather than a standard Windows layout. The minimalist white look is designed to pair visually with Apple's own accessories and desk setups, appealing to builders who want a clean, uncluttered aesthetic rather than bold colors or novelty legends. Because the set includes 128 keys, it is built to cover a range of common layouts rather than just one specific board, which suits someone who might reuse the set across more than one keyboard over time or who needs extra modifier and function keys for a nonstandard layout.

Profile, material and compatibility

These keycaps use the XDA profile, a flat, uniform profile where every key sits at the same height and angle regardless of row, unlike the sculpted rows found on OEM or Cherry profile sets. This gives a consistent feel and look across the whole board and works well for builders who like a low, minimalist aesthetic. The caps are made from PBT plastic, a material generally more resistant to shine and wear from finger oils over time than the cheaper ABS plastic used on many stock keyboards. With 128 keys included, the set is compatible with popular layouts including 61, 68, 84, 87, 96 and 104-key boards, covering most 60 percent through full size mechanical keyboards sold to enthusiasts.

Legends, printing and everyday appearance

The set uses Mac-style legends, including command and option symbols in place of the Windows and Alt keys found on standard sets, along with the media and function key icons Mac users expect. Dye sublimation printing, the method commonly used on PBT keycap sets like this one, embeds the legend into the plastic itself rather than sitting on top of it, which generally holds up to wear better than printed or laser etched legends that can fade or rub off. The white colorway keeps the overall look minimal and closely mirrors the color of Apple's own keyboards and accessories, though white keycaps in general show dust, dirt and finger oils more visibly than darker colors and need more frequent wiping down to stay looking fresh.

What to weigh before buying

Ussixchare is a lesser known keycap brand compared with established names in the custom keyboard space, so there is less of a track record to judge how well the PBT material and white color will hold up after years of heavy use, particularly whether the caps yellow over time the way some plastics do with UV exposure. Buyers who most want proven long term color stability may prefer a more established keycap maker even at a higher price, while those comfortable with some uncertainty for a lower cost will find this a reasonable way to get the Mac-style XDA look without a big spend. It is worth double-checking exact key compatibility against your specific board layout before ordering, since XDA sets can vary slightly in included kit keys between brands.

Verdict and where it ranks

This set ranks second in our XDA profile keycap comparison with a score of 7.6 out of 10, a strong pick for Mac users specifically because of its Mac-style legend set, which not every rival XDA set includes. The top ranked JEWUNO set covered elsewhere in this guide edges it out slightly for buyers without a strong preference for Mac legends, so Windows users may want to compare that option first. For anyone building a Mac-paired keyboard who wants a flat, minimalist white look with accurate command and option keys, this Ussixchare set is a solid and affordable choice.
