What we liked
- + Hot-swappable base with POM linear red switches rated for 50 million keypresses.
- + VIA open-source software lets you remap keys and set macros and backlight effects.
- + Multi-layer sound-dampening filling and PBT pudding keycaps add more than the old budget pick offered.
Trade-offs
- - Priced above the other budget picks in this guide, which is the trade for hot-swap and VIA.
- - Kanagawa anime artwork on the case and a 60% layout without arrow keys may not suit everyone.
